Wellness Changer was born out of my desire to help people achieve better health and richer lives through sound nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

Jeanne Wisniewski, NTP

I've always been interested in science and how the body works. I was that kid with a Sears chemistry set and microscope. My love for science led me to attend Penn State University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and worked in a research laboratory.

Shortly after graduation I married a professional athlete and had 3 children. This is when my personal study of holistic nutrition began, keeping all of us healthy and injury free was the scientific study of a lifetime. Once my children entered school I began teaching math and science and I discovered I loved being an educator.

Educating people about the science of nutrition and exercise is my passion. I sat side by side as family members and dear friends battled cancer, congestive heart failure, diabetes and other chronic diseases. I attended countless doctors’ visits and chemotherapy treatments with them. In time I had my own health issues, a tumor on a mammogram and the chronic stress that comes with going through a divorce. I experienced first hand what chronic stress physically does to the body.

Thankfully my tumor was benign and I was so fortunate to be supported through my stress with amazing friends, changing my diet and increasing my exercise.

Wellness Changer is a business that transforms your health and vitality through a community dedicated to nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle.

My drive for understanding the causality of disease was ignited. This led me to examine clinical studies pointing to nutritional factors as the key to changing the wellness of the body and mind. My research showed that those who lacked a whole food nutrient dense diet, along with a sedentary lifestyle were at the largest risk for serious and chronic diseases. These experiences motivated me to go back to school and become a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) and get my certification in Fitness Training.
